About the building
Cumbria Court is a brick built block of six two bedroomed apartments on three floors.Each apartment is fully furnished ad equipped and has living room, kitchen, two bedrooms, and bathroom with bath and shower.
About Southport
As an area Southport is very flat with no hills, and Cumbria Court is located to allow easy walking access to Southport town centre with all its shops, bars and restaurants.
Arrival and Car Parking
There is one dedicated parking space per flat – parking bays are numbered and will correspond with your flat number. Please DO NOT park in any other bay.
If you have a second vehicle we do have a limited number of parking permits which will enable you to park on the road, these must be requested prior to arrival and handed back in to the office before departure.
Main Entrance
Depending on your arrangements you will have picked up your keys, or arranged for someone to meet you at the property.The front door is a self closing door which opens to the right. The keyhole height is 92cm.
There are no steps at all into the entrance hall, which is carpeted in short pile carpet.
There is a book case in the hall with books if you are stuck for something to read while you re there, please feel free to take your chosen book home if you haven’t quite finished, or to leave any finished books for our next guests.
About the flat
Flat 2 is on the ground floor, and the front door opens to the right, with the keyhole being 120 cm high.
The hall is carpeted in short pile carpet. The hall measures 93 cm by 332 cm and has five doors leading from it to the kitchen, bathroom, two bedrooms and living room.
To the left of the front door there is a light switch, there is also a fire alarm button so please be careful when using the light switch.
There is also a notice with information such as contact numbers.
In the living room there is a folder containing user manuals and any information to make your stay easier.
The internet connection is wired, the socket is just to the right of the living room door and is labelled, if you use the phone socket it wont work!
Bedroom 1
The first door on the right is to bedroom one, this opens to the left and the door handle is 90 cm high. Again it has short pile carpets and twin beds. Each bed has one side against the wall, with 82 cm between. There is a bedside locker between the beds with a lamp.
Living Room
The next door is to the living room, which opens to the left and has a door handle 90 cm high. Carpeted with short pile carpet, it has two leather sofas, flat screen TV with dvd player and coffee table.
Bedroom 2
The next door is to the second bedroom. It opens to the right and has a door handle 90 cm high. There is a short pile carpet and a double bed with 70 cm to one side and 130 cm to the other.
Bathroom
The bathroom door opens to the left and has a handle 90cm high.
The bathroom is fully tiled, with none slip tiles on the floor, sink, toilet, bath and shower cubicle.
The toilet seat is 41cm high, the sink is 84 cm high, the bath measures 110 cm x 35 cm, the step to the shower cubicle is 16 cm and the shower controls are 120 cm high.
Kitchen
The kitchen door opens to the left and has a handle 90 cm high.
The final door is to the kitchen.
The work surface is 93 cm high. The sink and gas hob are both 90 cm high, and the top of the oven door is 74 cm high.There is a fridge freezer, with the fridge on the top and the freezer on the bottom.
The top of the freezer is 110 cm high and the highest shelf of the fridge is 180 cm high.
